COVID-19 UPDATES - Below is a summary of PDH requirement modifications from state boards. Please review the state board websites for the latest updates as requirements are changing often.
Delaware - If impacted by Covid-19, licensees may request a 60-day extension.
D.C. - PDH requirements have been waived for 8/31/20 renewal period.
Idaho - PDH requirements are suspended "during the Covid-19 Response Period".
Iowa - The number of required PDH hours have been modified. PDH may be independent study.
Kansas - PDH timeline has been extended to 90 days after the State of Disaster Emergency ends.
Maryland - PDH timeline has been extended to 30 days after the State of Disaster Emergency ends.
New Jersey - PDH timeline has been extended until 6/30/20.
New York - For renewals from 3/1/20 to 9/1/20, PDH can be "self-study" from an approved provider.
South Carolina - Encouraged to use online PDH. May also request an extension/exemption.
Tennessee - PDH requirements may be suspended, at the board's discretion.

Hawaii does not currently require a minimum amount of annual PDH. Professional Engineers registered in the state can take any of our Engineering PDH courses.
Massachusetts does not currently require a minimum amount of annual PDH. Professional Engineers registered in the state can take any of our Engineering PDH courses.
Rhode Island does not currently require a minimum amount of annual PDH. Professional Engineers registered in the state can take any of our Engineering PDH courses.
Washington does not currently require a minimum amount of annual PDH. Professional Engineers registered in the state can take any of our Engineering PDH courses.
Our courses & exams are based on the NCEES Continuing Professional Competency Guidelines, which is the guide used by most states for their continuing education requirements. Currently we are not set up yet for Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, & New York. Note however that we are currently in the process of getting registered and approved by these states and hope to be able to provide courses for these states in the next few months (updated 3/1/20).

However, with always changing rules by the state boards, we cannot guarantee that all information here is always accurate & up to date. We encourage you to use this page as a summary of some of the key points for each state's P.E. licensing requirements only and be sure to frequently fully review your board's current PDH rules.
Currently, 8 states in the U.S. (AZ, CA, CO, CT, HI, RI, WA) don't require Professional Engineers to have a minimum required amount of annual continuing education. Based on the number of resident engineers licensed in each state (ref NCEES 2014), this equates to 73% of the P.E.'s in the U.S. which are required to meet a predetermined amount of annual or biannual PDH/CPD.
