FUN FACT! - Currently, 8 states in the U.S. (AZ, CA, CO, CT, HI, RI, WA) don't require Professional Engineers to have a minimum required amount of annual continuing education. Based on the number of resident engineers licensed in each state (ref NCEES 2014), this equates to 73% of the P.E.'s in the U.S. which are required to meet a predetermined amount of annual or biannual PDH/CPD.
